Hi Everyone!
We'd love to know if you have any top tips from your experience so far migrating your data from Datix (or even another platform) that would be useful to other organisations in the InPhase community.
Please share in the comment section below! :)
Can i ask a question about Datix migration? We are about to embark on migration with a planned 'go live' of 1st Nov. Our Datix licence ends at the end of December, so some of our migrated incidents will still be 'open'. Can these remain open within the legacy data until we complete the investigation and close? or will we have to 'open' these within Inphase in order to complete the investigation?
Some DatixWeb installations have ‘anomalies’ regarding documents. In some (not all) installations:
some documents have no document type identifier
some documents have a different file system type extension, compared to the database field recording the document type
documents with the same name are attached to a single incident
documents have non-standard file extensions not recognised as safe
All of the above can cause the transfer of documents to be imperfect, and it is important to check that all documents have transferred correctly in the Uploader test phase so that any of the above (or new site specific anomalies) can be resolved by InPhase Technical staff, before a Go Live date. Despite the difficult, I am pleased to say that we have not yet experienced an anomaly that the InPhase Tech Team Wizards haven't been able to find a way to resolve!
