I want to report on historical data from an export in another external system.
I've set up a brand new object and measure to import into.
I have set up a scheduled import correctly but the data is not being pulled through to the trends table in designer.
The preview within the scheduled import builder shows data in the preview, and a live connect also pulls the data but it is not being imported to show in the measure's "Actual" series
Hi.
One way to review what action(s) the scheduled import has done is review the job history
(InPhase Administrator --> Jobs).
One of the reasons why data would not be imported when you have asked it to (via the scheduled import) is that the Object : Measure (OM) has an object start date set which is after the data you are trying to import.
For example: The OM has a start date of January 2024, but you are trying to import data for December 2023
Go to into Administrator mode and go to model > jobs
Find the job related to your scheduled import
Click on show job history on the sidebar
If you see your latest job has "Completed with Errors" you will need t o investigate.
Click on open, to open the log
Scroll down to see how the system handled the job.
In the case above, the new object that was created had a start date of today, so the system couldn't import any data in the past.
