Hi All,
Just wondering if anyone has cracked this. We're looking to have an hierarchy of access to incidents for both live and legacy i.e. The Exec can see all incidents, a Director can see all incidents in there directorate, an Assistance Director can see all incidents in their sub-directorate, etc, down to a Team Manager/Lead being able to see all incidents in their team. At the moment we've set up specific groups to be able to do this but can't see how to apply these in such a way that it only gives access to incidents that belong to that Directorate - Team. In addition HR would be able to see all HR related incidents etc. Effectively making all incidents available on a 'need to know basis'.
Not to worry if not, we have a request in with the InPhase consultants.
Hi Viki, With the help of InPhase consultants we've been able to achieve this. It was a case of setting up groups and then linking them via Transform to Group and Object Sync. We now have views for incidents associated with various levels of management and speciality (Tissue Viability, Health & Safety etc). I'm sure if you contact InPhase they'll be able to sort you. The consultant who sorted ours was Paul Clinton.
Hi Andrew, I'd be very interested if you do get an answer to this. I did tried to find out something similar last year and i don't think i ever got to the bottom of it. Viki Marshall
